Along with thousands of others I queued for about two hours with a friend to visit this take-over exhibition at Bristol City Museum in July of last year. Apart from one room mostly dedicated to 2D artworks the rest of the work was incorporated amongst the permanent collection of the museum. As a way of encouraging Bristolians and other visitors to check out this collection the Banksy interjections were a definite success. For me the endless stream of visual puns grew thin after a while but it brought a sense of fun to the museum experience and the production quality was spot on. Worth the wait!
